Mrs. Mary A. Zamblauskas, 84, died on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Stella Maris in Maryland.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Avenue, West Orange, on Saturday October 2 at 10 AM.
Visiting in the PROUT FUNERAL HOME, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Friday from 4 to 7PM.
Born in Scranton, PA, Mrs. Zamblauskas lived in West Orange from 1950 to 2009, when she moved to her daughter Bobbie's home in Timonium, MD. She wintered at her Florida home in Port St. Lucie.
She was a Secretary at Royal Insurance Company in East Hanover for 43 years.
Mrs. Zamblauskas has been a member of the Royal Guards and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2856 in Livingston.
She is the wife of the late Vincent Zamblauskas, the mother of Bobbie McGovern-Prevost and her husband Frank and Mary DelMauro and her husband Patrick. She is also survived by her brother Jack Amaral, her grandchildren, Linda and Thomas McGovern, Danielle Kranz (Thomas), Meredith Paduch (Eric) and 4 great-grandchildren.
Donations in her memory to the Leukemia Society would be appreciated.
Bobbie and Mickey, I am SO sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Such great memories growing up next door to her and Razzy. Last I spoke to her she was so upbeat and sounded like the Mary I remembered. What a card game they have going up there now with Razzy,Mary, and all three of my parents. They are watching and loving us all from wherever they are-- until we see them again.. God Bless.. Janice
